We can't see them. We can't hear them. We can't touch them. Yet our thoughts are perhaps the most powerful factor in influencing our lives. I mean, our lives, individually and collectively. And we all but ignore them in our lives. "With our thoughts we make the world," said the Buddha. Our thoughts create our own worlds - and the world at large. We hear of the power of positive thinking. That is not the half of it.. At our peril we overlook the destructive power of negative thinking. If I told you that everything you think about in the next 24 hours would come true, would you change the thoughts you had over that period? Would you even know what you had thought about? How you can't afford to pay the bills? How much you dislike your job? About the disageements you have with your partner? That you became caught up in the crime scenes played out in last night's TV drama? Your thoughts about the human tragedies in the news? About the weather? The economy? Our politicians?
